Pros

Gaining experience working for one of the worlds leading card payments companies with a team of dedicated recruiters has been a great experience. In 2017, the team performed really well and had a fantastic management team and culture in place.

Cons

Echoing a below review, recent team changes to management have led to a total loss of team morale and complete change in working environment. They fail to take responsibility for their work, preferring to pass everything over to recruiters who are already incredibly busy. With the other rarely in the office more than 3 days a week which makes an effective relationship with both the team and the client hard to attain. Discussions about our progression, performance and career development have been replaced by an obsession with spreadsheets, reports and SLA’s and consequently recruiters are regularly having to work 10+ hour days plus weekends.

Pros

I worked with some very dedicated employees who are passionate about RS. There is the ability to rise through the ranks if you're prepared to put the hours in.

Cons

From my personal experience in CMT, very little work flexibility, the expectation was to be at your desk from 8.30-6pm 5 days a week. Extremely cramped office environment, much smaller desks than normal which led to feeling like we were literally on top of each other. Quite a cold and unfriendly workplace, always with an underlying air of tension about the place. The work itself was good but the culture and environment made it a difficult place for me personally to work.

It's great to hear that you felt the same passion from your colleagues that I've felt since joining Resource Solutions, and that the opportunities for progression and development are obvious and available to all. You'll see from other Glassdoor reviews that our core working hours are often mentioned; you'll also see that I've committed to looking into this as one of my priorities. I can assure you that I'm actively working on improving the flexibility we can offer. We haven't got it spot on now, but we're working on it! This is all part of a programme of 'smart working' that I'm developing, and extra space and a more pleasant working environment are key things on this agenda. Again, we're working on it.
