Pros

Most of the employees were kind in the beginning. The salary seemed fair compared to similar jobs in the area. Convenient location.

Cons

When employees true colors came out there was lots of negative gossip. The main building is old and outdated. Cleaning was horrible. Medical insurance for family was pricey.

Pros

Incredible health care benefits, as well as life-insurance, dental, vision, paid vacation and sick leave with the option of FLMA after 12 consecutive months with the company. Being in the lower middle-class it's a huge benefit to be able to shop discounted merchandise for very reasonable prices. Working with the lower middle-class people and being able to provide a service for those not fortunate enough to shop at full-retail price. I witness first hard the power of work with this company, and I very much enjoy being a part of it and I know that promotional opportunities are always available to me. Goodwill is an employment agency and they offer second-chances to those with non-violent felony charges. The CEO and VP work hard to offer these chances to potential employees and others providing community service, and their hard work shows their care for these communities.

Cons

The only downfall is the hourly pay. Even though I do understand that my health insurance is very good and I pay very little for such a good plan, it is still difficult to maintain comfortable living situations with my base pay-check. Which means that sometimes I work as many as 15 hours overtime just to reach ends-meet. This being said, I am also a single adult, who lives alone and is completely dependent on just my wages. Many of my co-workers enjoy financial stability with the same pay and a financial partner.
