Travel benefits but TERRIBLE management

- Travel benefits - Great coworkers (only reason why I stayed this long)

Cons

- Can't keep employees because of the crazy rules that they make up as they please. - They will humiliate you, no respect. - No flexibility. Only work here if you do not have a social life, family or kids. - The manager only likes employees who tells on other employees making the environment a terrible place to work. - Different rules for different people (favoritism will play a great roll in this job) - Only work here if you have no other option. - You only get travel benefits and health insurance after 6 months (or more) of working and that's if they like you.

Pros

Travel Benefits are the best work place privileges you will ever get. You are unionized has a Phone/Airport Associate, so basically your are well "protected".

Cons

Horrible place to work, and it is hard to manage the minimal salary. Many new agents suffer burnouts doing overtime just to survive. The hours of work at 24/7, 365 days.... Not easy when you have a family and can't get a day off. Upper management makes major dollars while you are below the wage of living. Don't expect any sympathy from them. The union is not much help to the junior employees. They are only senior employees who think of themselves. Junior employees are basically left behind when it come time to contract renewals.

Great colleagues. World-class airline. Relative stability in comparison with other airlines. Well-maintained, high quality equipment.

Cons

Starvation pay. Psychotic management. Residual Crown-corporation mentality. Arcane communications and bidding systems. Union and Management "two-headed monster".
