Pros

Will cover full cost of education through select schools. Fantastic benefits Paid time off Involved DE&I network

Cons

Limited availability for advancement outside of the call center unless you want to move across the country. No developmental opportunities once school has been completed. (They mention CareerTrax and Reach as select opportunities, but these are very selective and limited in their approval and actual benefit to employee growth.) increasingly stressful environment. The company cares more about what benefits their stockholders than the mental and emotional wellbeing of their employees.

Pros

- Benefits are good - Bonus payout has been healthy - Annual increases are decent, but don't expect more than 2-3%. No big comp jumps unless you get a promotion but that's near impossible. - Wireless discount

Cons

There is a mass exodus of new and tenured employees at T-Mobile right now. Most are quitting with nothing lined up because it is THAT bad. This is all stemming from the following mix: - Extreme burnout and overwork - Since Legere left there is no brand. Sievert does nothing except push all employees to return to office. - HR does nothing when you come to them with concerns. In fact any reporting that is done you will be retaliated against. - Employee churn causing more workload placed on others with no right-sizing of roles/duties following departures. Employees must find a way to do it all, then they burn out more and leave. It's an endless cycle at this point. Entire departments of people have churned due to this type of cycle. - Leadership forcing employees back into the office even though COVID is still surging and we have proven that we can work together remotely for nearly 2 years with great success. - Lack of leadership. Not only lack of leadership in relation to COVID (other companies have all postponed return to work), but also with respect to how employees are treated and decisions are made. - Lack of advancement opportunities. Only those in the inner circle get promoted. There is also a lack of growth programs. Sure, they advertise a ton of these but you also must be hand selected or in the inner circle to get those - Frequent re-orgs that just create more chaos. Work is impossible to get done because there is always fighting about who owns what due to the continuous re-orgs. - Leaders who are indecisive, rude, avoid addressing employee concerns, and will put down others to make them look better. Being yelled at/belittled is not uncommon. - Cheap magenta swag sent/given out as a "reward" or "incentive" for doing good.

Pros

Great benefits, good pay, and free lunch on campus.

Cons

Absolute chaos inside. Constant re-orgs, constant leadership changes, and seemingly no reasoning to any of the massive, constant changes. No one knows what any one other team is doing and managers hardly have a handle on their own people. Apparently, it used to be FAR better before the merger with Sprint, but as I joined the beginning of this year, it was a hot mess. Half the teams didn't want to enforce RTO, other managers said that their people didn't have to come back, then SURPRISE SURPRISE....people were suddenly laid off in mass waves after many departments/businesses in TMO announced record profits....again. It's just a joke. If you don't mind being invisible and not really having job security, the free lunch is cool and the culture while you're there isn't bad. I had to beg for feedback from my management team and the most I ever got out of them was "haven't seen you doing anything wrong, so good for me" and that was it. Zero accountability, zero true structure, chaos all the time.
