Pros

Reasonable pay, good discount, flexible hours, training material is decent, opportunity to move up to key holder should you want to

Cons

Sales and shop moves thrown about here there and everywhere, with no regard for holidays like New Year’s Eve/xmas eve, and no consideration of the late hours needed to move store after hours on those days. Products are bad quality, sales tactics are pushy and forced. Company claims to be climate change conscious but prints mile long receipts, and sends out wasteful unnecessary packaging and shop displays, sizing for items is limited which makes serving customers who need larger or small sizes uncomfortable and embarrassing at times. Constant sales and promotions feel desperate and beggy especially when you have lots of regular customers

Pros

They give a Generous discount

Cons

Micromanaging all day everyday The district manager is a bully and only cares about sales for her district and doesn’t care how you get there . She loves to break policy and procedures. Never backs the staff on companies policies and allows the consumers to control what the stores do or don’t do . She alienates you and is extremely rude if you share anything that is negative taking place that may require her to actually work and do her job . She talks poorly about all staff members by name to internal and external people . She runs her district like a fast food drive thru window.( she should return to that industry ) She doesn’t care about the employees only being number one in the company . The high turnover speakers volumes to the company and to upper management . Don’t bother telling anyone higher up because they too do not care and are not equipped to handle anything and just kick the can down the road . HR should remain neutral in confidential discussions but defends the poor behavior of upper management. This company has a terrible reputation . Pay is horrible and they do not give raises when they say they will . The major signs of a toxic work environment and this places check every single box ! Extreme micromanagement. High employee turnover. Employees fear giving feedback. Lack of respect or recognition. Too many outdated or arbitrary rules. Excessive emphasis on performance metrics. Poor work/life balance. Lack of employee growth/progress. Cliques, gossip and rumors run rampant. No boundaries from leadership. Frustration that YOU as an individual cannot change anything. They can’t even manage their own metrics or KPIs correctly . No accountability for upper management but they lay the hammer down to the stores and staff . Upper management gives instructions and then takes no accountability for those instructions given and tell you to figure it out for yourself . Think twice before coming here because you and your staff will make more money working at Chick-fil-A , at least they take good care of their employees and have an outstanding reputation .

Pros

The product , and SOME of the people you meet

Cons

Lots of responsibility for little pay. They always use the term growth mindset, but never seem to have it when it comes to their employees. They make you use your personal phone to text client in order to gain sales as it is a requirement. a raise you’ll never get it even though corporate got theirs. They expect minimum wage keyholders to know the business and run the business. District managers never seem to care about their team only when their boss is breathing down their neck. Favorites are a thing as if we were in high school. Don’t apply if you’re not ready to breath eat and crap Swarovski.
