Pros

None at this point. The novelty of working here had worn off months ago.

Cons

-Only hires part time. -Store is always missing a lot of pieces -All the employees are fighting over more hours -POS process takes longer than it needs to take -Management puts too much pressure on us to sell when we’re literally in a recession -Pressure to build a client list when we don’t even receive commissions -The changes to employee allocation are unfair -More part timers keep getting hired instead of just giving more hours to ones they already have. -We get reprimanded for items getting stolen when the whole store is open concept. Put the merchandise behind glass. -With the low pay and rising prices most of us can’t afford to wear the jewelry that’s required for work. -No raises or growth -They expect everything from workers while we get paid very little. -We have to call customers manually instead of automated texts and email lasts. This company thinks they’re a luxury brand but in reality it’s all just overpriced costume jewelry and customers know that. Management will hound you about sales goals despite the fact that the product is too expensive for most people. We hardly ever have sales or discounts and when we do it doesn’t make much of a difference. If you’re neurodivergent I wouldn’t recommend working here. How does this multimillion dollar company have the money to put towards AI chat bots for the monthly e-learnings but can’t put together a database of all SC members and automatically send out a monthly email to everyone who neglected to use their birthday discount? There’s so many small problems that cause issues for the lower level employees that could easily be solved. However, corporate doesn’t do anything about it and management continues to ask why no one is buying anything.
