Pros

+ Unionized + Pay Raises every 6 months till top pay + Great Healthcare + 40 hours a week and they can only force you to work 8 mandatory hours

Cons

- Management sucks - They force you to break federal laws or else you get fired like me - CEO has no clue what he is doing - HR is completely terrible - All there equipment is used and you never get new one's unless they are required by law.

Pros

There really are not any pros since Centurylink took over. Medical has gone through the roof, while compensation has remained below national average. If your inept and lazy you will be rewarded.

Cons

All of the knowledgeable employees in the field are blamed for all of upper management's failures. Centurylink continues to wipe out jobs by contracting them out and forcing technicians to find new jobs or be forced to jobs they do not want. Mandatory overtime 8 hours a week, usually on a Friday when you have plans. Wages are the same in Seattle as they are in Iowa, no cost of living allowance. Managers do not have their employees backs, and create issues on the crews by having favorites. Management routinely turns a blind eye to racial, and sexual orientation discrimination, harassment, inappropriate use of language and subject matter. Failure to follow safety practices to get the job done. One crew is allowed to swear, make racist comments, talk about sex. On the other end of the hall in another room people are disciplined, and given intruction that they can and will be terminated for doing the same thing.

Pros

Good Salary, benefits, flexible working (well, at one time).

Cons

New MD arrived Richard Warley who did the same role 15 years ago. His plan seems to be sack all the new talent that has been brought into the company and just focus on the people he knew when he was there before. Duh! there is a reason why someone has been in a company for 15 years... I think "stagnant water" would be the best description. Patronising, standing over your desk and public schooling you and walking around the office to check that everyone is in - x-style management of the 1970s and quite befitting of the Eton cricket lawn. On his arrival presentation he showed us a photo of two (obviously gay men) holding hands urging us to "embrace change". I am in a same sex relationship and found my identity being used as some type of business ethics class particularly insulting. Needless to say he charged through the staff getting rid of everyone who was not there 15 years ago. I am still in contact with many employees and they say it is now unbearable and the relationship with clients, staff and the MD being at an all time low. Shame - it had great promise as a UK Operation.
