HelloFresh is the classic good ol' boys club. There is zero racial diversity at HelloFresh HQ in New York and they treat race like a taboo secret society that no one can ever talk about. They use the distribution centers and sales and brand teams to boost their diversity numbers. The executive team is 100% white and male. The senior leadership team is not much better. The culture at HelloFresh reflects this. White men are promoted very quickly, white women are hired very often (I think there are more women than men working at HelloFresh)--but they are rarely promoted, but Black employees are almost never promoted or hired at HQ except for the occasional "token", who they will use over and over to send important messages to make it look like they care about their Black employees. After the George Floyd incident, the CEO sent out a generic message that didn't even mention the word Black and basically took the All Lives Matter stance. Lots of employees were upset and they ended up asking the Black and hispanic employees to help them fix it... A few Black employees that were really involved in diversity etc. just quit because of this and I know a lot more are looking for other jobs. Almost all of the recruiters are white and privileged and tend to bring in people who are exactly like them, so the cycle continues. I bet anyone who left a positive review on this company is not Black. Like almost all Black employees at HelloFresh, I will be leaving as soon as I get a better job offer.

Unfortunately, they set you up thinking this place is going to be amazing. I was completely lied to in my interview on what I would be doing. They pay you WAY less than you should be making and there is absolutely no growth. They only grow the same people over and over off of if they like you. I worked 60-80 hour work weeks for them to just hire people above me and take the jobs I liked doing away. The office is extremely crowded and no space. They do not care if you grow in your career at all and if your skill set grows. The managers do not care to manage and just about their own career. I could go on and on and if you actually care about growth and learning in your job, do not come here.
