Health IQ has been the worst experience in my career. Everyone says long hours, but on top of the long hours you are working non-stop throughout the workday. Legitimately, people avoid bathroom breaks as to finish their work on time. If you still have work by the end of the day, you are expected to stay late to finish without logging it for pay. Many people, especially drivers, work through their lunch in order to finish on time, and usually end up still staying late.
To say this was a toxic work environment is an understatement. I regularly stressed daily tasks, about doctors appointments (I had undergone surgery while employed here), taking care of errands, and taking care of myself. At Health IQ, work comes first and everything else should take a backseat. They seem to have no understanding of responsibilities out side of work.
I would especially not recommend this job to anyone in the reserves. I went on military leave while working here and when I came back management had made comments to me about how it was an inconvenience and how I should stay late that week (without logging it as pay) to finish my work because everyone had been covering for me while I was gone.
I can go on and on about day to day issues with Health IQ, but the thing that always put me over the top was the treatment of employees by leaders. I learned very quickly that management doesn't care about your ideas, input or what is going on in your life. They will never make you feel like you are valued employee and ask more of you no matter how much you do. They absolutely hate confrontation. This is why you will notice that people don't speak up in meetings. Those who do, are ridiculed or have eyes rolled at them.
Last piece of advice, whether or not you decide to work here, I would take everything management says with a grain of salt. They lie to you, and unfortunately they tell others to lie to you too to keep you from knowing better. When I started, base pay was 50k for the year. They lowered that to 45k and below, telling new-hires that their pay was equal, and lying about where it was being allocated (towards lunches and wellness programs).
Leaving Health IQ was the best decision of my life, and I only wish I had done it sooner. I realized that no job is worth sacrificing my happiness and sense of worth. If you leave Health IQ, I guarantee you it will only go up.
