Pros

You have the option to get free lunch or have it calculated into comp structure in SD: free massages in Mt. View: free workout classes

Cons

- Extremely long hours: 9-11.5 hour days, every day - Low base pay: Glassdoor is nowhere near accurate, not even close - The commission structure makes it next to impossible to get paid out: Don't plan on making anything above your base - Management requests you inflate your numbers: they make the targets too high and then ask you to do "whatever it takes" to hit them. It creates a dense, inaccurate pipeline which clouds clean business - Workplace discrimination and harassment: instead of building you up, they tear you down. Multiple people have cried after meetings they've had with upper management due to the condescending and demeaning nature of the meetings. They use scare tactics and intimidation to try and ensure you don't leave the company - People in the office rarely workout: you have a one hour lunch/workout break that most people use to eat - It is almost impossible to get time off: you have to request it a month or more in advance and if it's anymore than 1-2 days you most likely will be denied - Lots of tun over: new people are constantly coming in and people are constantly going out without even a word being said. You will go to reach out to someone and realize that they are no longer in the system - Case managers and exam schedulers are spread to thin. They are bombarded with work from over 60 agents and turn around response time from them takes 7 days - Your health will 100% decline instead of improve once working here due to the long hours, stressful nature of the job, and negative energy that lingers throughout the office

Thank you for your feedback and for noting some of the wellness initiatives we have been fortunate enough to offer our employees. As a current employee, you know that we are a culture that tries to support everyone’s health journeys, whether they are starting to work on their health to having been health-conscious for years. To that end, we hope to provide the opportunity for employees to engage as much or as little with the perks like dedicated workout time, catered healthy lunches, etc to the extent they are interested. To your concerns about the culture and expectations, please know that we care deeply about each of our employees and are dedicated to supporting our employees at each moment of their time here. As with any rapidly growing startup, we strive to have respect for our people and work to co-create an environment where we can implement feedback about what is working and not working. We value your honest feedback about what is not working and would encourage you to also reach out to any member of the executive team, or any manager to discuss more details and help us create plans for forward growth. If you would prefer, you can send an email to experience@healthiq.com to open a conversation.
