Pros

The only thing I liked was my work schedule during the time I was there.

Cons

Very Unethical company Compensation Plan Management Lies Communications Sales Leads You will go hours without a phone call I was hired because I was one of the top sales agents at my former employer and HealthIQ contacted me about employment. They offered me the job during my first interview and entice the offer by doubling my stock options. I made it clear to HealthIQ throughout the entire process that if things are not what you are selling I would like to be able to go back to my prior company with no problems. Everyone I spoke to at HealthIQ assured me that I would be able to return. Well its 2 months later and nothing they said was true. First their onboarding process was horrible. If you are not trained on Medicare before you are employed with HealthIQ then you will learn nothing. Senior Sales management is very unethical. They didn't even go over the compensation plan until the day before you go on the sales floor. This is 7 weeks into training by the way. HR agrees with whatever the management team says. So, HR is not there to protect you are the company. This company makes up policies and back dates them to trap employees. It is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I wish I would have never answered the phone for them. If you read this please think about what you read before you join this unethical company. And just to let you know while I was there I had the second most sales in the company while taking a week of preplanned vacation. If I had not taken that week I would have been the number one agent with the company. The money they say you will make is not true. This is truly a horrible start up company.

Pros

Friendships made from working here and the slight chance to actually help someone who needs it.

Cons

Hired under false pretenses. Lied to about: commission structure, call volume, call structure, lead opportunity, lead quality, and hours required to work. This is not a family friendly place of work when we were required to work a minimum of 10 hours through AEP and depending on how many hours you worked based your commission structure, which changed retroactively to benefit the company, not employees. Your concerns will not be addressed unless you have a good relationship with someone higher up or bulldog your way to the top. Upper management will send you on a neverending path of getting ahold of multiple people - none of which that can give you a proper answer and most don't respond - trying to wait it out until you give up. Intimidation with threats of disciplinary action are a common practice at this company as well, so basically "keep quiet or you'll be punished" is your only option here.

Sorry that you feel like you were lied to. As a growing company changes do occur. Will take your advice back to the team.

Pros

There are several managers at the company who are very good at their job and super friendly but unfortunately they are the exceptions.

Cons

-low base pay and a lot of employees have no bonuses or raises; stock options don't seem to be worth much either; benefits are a joke -long hours and I mean significant overtime that's unpaid and at terrible times like early mornings, late nights, or on weekends; expect NO WORK LIFE BALANCE -management changes ideas every few days creating tremendous workloads for everyone -people leave constantly; there are departments where the entire department is swapped with new hires every year -a lot of work is totally unnecessary and literally only done just so someone higher up can "have it ready in case they need it" -some managers are psychopaths who enjoy swearing at employees and putting people down for the smallest issue instead of giving constructive feedback -company has no respect for PTO; I can't remember the last time I had time off without someone calling me for a work emergency -everyone's always stressed out and on edge, especially those of us who have been here for years; we're all completely burnt out and the company doesn't care at all -no more free lunches or help with paying for utilities (due to WFH costs) -terrible communication from the top down that only creates more confusion and stress and work for everyone -management doesn't listen to feedback from employees at all because literally nothing has improved -complete lack of organization which causes random emergencies to pop up all the time that wastes so much time and effort Just search "signs of a toxic workplace" and no matter what link you click on I guarantee you this company checks over 90% of the boxes.
