Pros

Some of the fellow employees are very nice and good people.

Cons

I don't even know where to start.. The revolving door of employees - hired and fired in the crazy cycle. In one week you could see 3 people go and 3 new ones (at least) just to see at least one of them quit within the first 3 days. This place needs a serious shake up from the top down. Canada Revenue Agency, Human Rights Tribunal and media should take a closer look at what goes on in this "company". Mistreatment, lies, abuse of employees are standard practices - not an exception. Their pay is akin to those in the 3rd world sweatshops, not a civilized 1st world country. The organization is going downhill market wise and employment wise for the last few years and there are no improvements being made to do anything about it. My advice to anyone looking at this place - stay away from them unless you don't mind being treated like trash and kick in the butt with minimum pay, not paid overtimes, no benefits at all and no prospects for the future. Union is joke in this place - totally sucking up to the execs. They will not protect you.

Pros

Some Friendly Customers Decent Schedule Not many night hours THINKING I was helping the less fortunate Only place to offer me a job when I needed one

Cons

VERY unsafe neighborhood People wanting free hand outs Management taking credit for employee decisions Ability to be terminated based on lies Lied to about raises, promotions, and bonuses Low-level employees don't see any "profit sharing" at this non-profit. Management sees hundreds of thousands. Took advantage of my skills and my dependence on their paycheck.
