Pros

You get to serve the community and have a chance to positively impact people's lives.

Cons

They put money over mission; second (or third) rate leadership; they know they hire people with "barriers to employment" (ex-offenders, disabled, etc.) who struggle to find work elsewhere, and they use that knowledge to pay significantly less than market value; massive culture (and pay) gap between executives and average employee

Pros

Flexible schedule Major holidays off Good variety in day to day tasks

Cons

Low pay Lots of customers complain about the company and pricing Common to work every other weekend or more A lot of your experience as an employee will depend on the store manager, each store has its own culture.

Pros

Meet life long friends and learn to respect the struggles of others. Good for entry level positions straight out of high school.

Cons

No work life balance, if you are asked to work on a scheduled day off but can't management bad mouths you. When unethical practices happen and an employee follows chain of command the employee will find themselves on the chopping block.
