Pros

You get to see how recycling is important, you help train people who would never really have a chance to work if it weren't for Goodwill. You get to see them experience pride and self worth.

Cons

It's exhausting - you are expected to do a LOT of physical labor: lifting heavy furniture, overhead lifting, moving smelly clothes, dealing with donors handing you trash, dead animals and live bugs.
