Pros

Great coworkers with a passion for their field. Creative thinking is encouraged, and individuals are asked for their solutions to problems which arise on a regular basis.

Cons

The chain of command gets muddy at the lower end of management. Promotions to lower management are not based on ability, but on positioning. Mistakes get made by rookie supervisors, and middle management is obliged to support poor decisions.

The only pro is the fact that they have killer benefits (But this is only if you are luck enough to receive full time, and each location only has 3 spots available to full time out of 20+ employees

hours, work, pay, customers, coworkers, corporate office, no full time positions unless in management.

There are no pros to working for Goodwill.

Cons

Goodwill is a massive "non-profit" scam. The people in the highest positions are profiting, and the lowly workers are paid so poorly that they qualify for "extreme poverty level". They pretend to be doing good while victimizing and taking advantage of their workers, particularly the disabled workers, some of whom do not even make minimum wage. It is a culture of greed and distrust, with terrible management. Workers are encouraged to inform on their peers for any perceived or real transgression, everything is on camera, no privacy. It is a culture of "NO".
