Pros

- the people you work with make your day bearable - the actual business, Goodwill as a nonprofit, is a great organization - if you think abstractly, you are really contributing to your community (although the events of the shift may cloud that thinking)

Cons

- store management treats production associates like peons, essentializing employees to production goals and percentages - customers are often condescending and rude to the staff, if you take this job be prepared to "grin and bear it"

Pros

Meeting new people, who know a lot about collectible, and being able to learn about different types of items. Never seeing the same thing twice.

Cons

The physical labor involved in order to make sales goals. The turnaround rate for sales associates. Yikes.
