Pros
Overall, working at Crate & Barrel was a good experience. The team environment was generally supportive, and I learned a lot about customer service and home decor products. It was a great opportunity to improve my communication skills and get more comfortable helping customers find what they were looking for.
Cons
One thing I noticed, though, is that sometimes there was a lot of pressure to focus on sales. While I understand that meeting sales goals is important in retail, it could feel a little too pushy at times, which made it harder to create a more relaxed and genuine experience with customers. In general, though, it was a positive place to work, and I appreciated the chance to be part of the team and gain valuable retail experience.
