Pros

Pros... um... they have paid training! Theres not much I can think of, the employees are super sweet, you'll have no shortage of friends, and its a decent entry level place... robots will love it

Cons

Everything... All the stress, and the shrinking salary, the fact that they punish the bottom 20% of sellers and do everything they can to screw over anyone with seniority, after their changes I went from making 1800 monthly commissions to about 800$ monthly commissions, a company I was with for 3 years! the learning curve is so high and training doesn't cover even a 3rd of what you need to know, most of it you'll learn from more experienced reps who are quickly being thrown out in favor of people who are not used to the large commissions we used to get, people who had been there longer than me! Over 10 sometimes 15 years! I would not suggest trying to stay long term, its a great way to get started but do not try to depend on it long term! Also expect your schedule to change every 2 to 3 months, got school? they don't care...

Pros

The corporate cafe has good food. That's the only positive thing I have to offer for corporate ADT.

Cons

Corporate ADT is an absolute mess of a company with little solid leadership or unified direction. There is high turn over rate as well as many internal departments do not work well together. The most problematic department at ADT corporate is the IT back office personnel. Everyone I have worked with for the past few years at ADT hate working with IT (it is really that bad!!). There is not only a lack of subject matter experts at ADT IT, but the model ADT uses for IT engagement is archaic and not results oriented. The effect of this model is cost prohibitive and causes much unneeded stress on the greater community of employees

Pros

For me, it's a good job. I love meeting with people and learning their stories. I put together plans that solve their needs. There is opportunity make make money, if you're motivated.

Cons

Goal is 50% close rate, 16 total units, 6 self generated units. That would require 20 company appointments but we only get 2-8 per month. There's plenty of documentation (Salesforce & Runzheimer) that proves we work 60+/hrs but we have to put 40/hrs on time card. Ridiculous telemarketing requirement without providing enough phone numbers per rep.
