Pros

Pros was making new friends and working with great people who cared about you. Some of the team managers really knew how to have fun at work and not just make it all about work work work and have us extremely miserable.

Cons

The HR coordinator is extremely rude does not care about you and other employees. You have some agents who are "favorites" and get to do whatever they want when they want and not have to pay any of it. Also have strict rules that you have to follow or they are quick to right you up and fire you. Always too many changes that occur back to back don't give you enough time to adjust to anything and if you have family issues, schedule conflicts, or school this is not the place to be! They do not work with you in any way to help you by no means!! I was out on leave after having a baby and while I was out they did yearly reviews and raises did I get one nope and I was pissed I had been there for 3 and a half years for them to treat me like that. I will never ever go back to that company nor recommend it to anyone.

The benefits are good. The job itself used to be good, but that was so long ago it's hard to even remember

Cons

Management is: Unknowlegeable Plays Favorites Emotionally Abusive Mentally Abusive Doesn't care if the Employees have morale or not. NO SUPPORT Expects you to work 6 days a week, every Saturday, 12hr days, but will tell you the company only demands a 40hr work week....Huh?? The wear and tear on your car is not worth the meanial mileage you get (10 cents per mile) I could go on, and on, and on....

Pros

Great reputation, top quality products. They accommodate well for special needs. Average benefits. It's an honest shot at selling for a living. But unless you hit the pavement as a superstar you're going to starve a while.

Cons

For sales - beware of the pay structure! It's straight commission dressed up with a rapidly declining training period base pay. Only two out of eight guys on my team were making quota. You won't likely make enough money to survive off of for 6 to 12 months, if you last that long You better have a second income from somewhere for that year. Training process is poor but they think it's great. One quick pass through and you're "trained." Yeah - right. Since they only pay straight commission after just a few months, they have little incentive to train us well for success. There's a lot to learn. But they're so insistent on rushing you out into the field to get leads that there's no time left to learn the products, paperwork and how to develop and recommend a security system for the client. Watch their episode on Undercover Boss. The employees there tell the truth.
