The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sears (North Dartmouth, MA) in Mar 2010
Interview
I had three interviews at Sears. The first was with the lead manager for the department I was going to be working in. The second was with the operational manager. The final was with the store manager. Each interview built on the previous one. They were personality tests and a skills test checking your knowledge of products, how you would handle customer situations. All three managers seemed really nice and personable.

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sears in May 2008
Interview
I applied online and was prompted to set up a time for my own interview. The day before my interview I got an email saying it was rescheduled to the next week. When I went in, the manager was there but didn't feel like doing any interviews that day, so I was interviewed by a new employee who it was his first week there. He told me that he hasn't made any money so far, since its a 100% commissions job and he was stuck doing interviews the hole time and that the manager told him he'd make a lot more than minimum wage even though he wouldn't make base pay, but she was wrong. He told that they were hiring for two different positions, but neither had a base pay, and asked if I was still interested. I said no, then he told me to apply in a few weeks for a cashier position.
