I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sears (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2014
Interview
Multiple interviews one after the other. Be prepared to answer lots of different questions. Some interviewers were very stern and asked specific skill-based questions. Some interviewers just wanted to get to know you. Some gave you the idea that they were looking for something or some type in particular; others didn't seem to care. Very nice people overall.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Sears (Hoffman Estates, IL) in Dec 2012
Interview
It was easy they didn't ask anything hard and the people interviewing had no idea what they were talking about anyone. They were very generic in all the questions they asked, I remember thinking that this is actually comical, I would later find out that the ignorant person that question me would actually be my supervisor. It's a very sad environment and unless you're interviewed by Eddie Lampert or a EVP you won't be doing one bit of good.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Sears in Feb 2011
Interview
One on One meeting with VP - general explanation of the job... Very rushed and not exciting - made it seem like a paper pusher with no authority, Unclear of expectations/role - mainly a 'figure it out as we go ' and expect to do it wrong because you can never do the job right - interviewer was very negative about the company herself
