Pros

None. Zero. Zilch. If you are a glutton for punishment, then this place is for you. If you respect your family, financial health and mental stability run far, far away.

Cons

If you're reading this you've either left this cesspool or are considering a sentence in slave labor. You see all of those job postings out there for Francesca's? There's a reason. If you're hired on as a part-timer aka key holder or boutique associate, unless you have an excellent boutique manager who is shielding you, you will be expected to work much harder and have much more responsibility than you're paid for. You will be underpaid and no manager will be able to fix it. They have no say. If you join the management team you will most likely fantasize how your resignation letter will sound within the first 3 months. On average, store managers are lasting about six months. Assistants? Think weeks. As a member of management you are at the mercy of your RD and DM, who clearly either lack any form of morals or don't care. How else can you explain forcing managers to work ten hour shifts up to 7 days a week, as a salaried employee. (If you think that's a joke, feel free to ask a manager at your nearest location. A member of management will be the employee that looks on the verge of a heart attack.) The payscale verses labor load is disgusting and don't dare think you can speak to HR. Managers who take a stand against 70hr work weeks tend to disappear. There are rules up the ying-yang and merely sneezing the wrong way will get you the threat of a write up. So many rules...to bad NONE and I mean NONE are in writing, anywhere! The employee handbook is electronic only; you aren't given a copy and good luck finding it anywhere. They make up rules depending on the day and punish you in the same manner. And trust me, punish you they will. If you want to give every second of your life to this company, literally live in starvation, feel completely demoralized, take verbal abuse and threats, while losing all sense of self worth, than by all means join this place. But if you have ANY shred of common sense you will read the other reviews on here and run all the way to F21. At least you get bathroom breaks there.

Pros

It’s an easy job -help guests -visuals -basic operations

Cons

MICROMANAGING!! If you work with another manager you will be observed when you help out a guest. Then you will be rewarded and redirected meaning that you will be given a phony complement about what you did right and a “redirect” with what you did wrong. You could have done the fran promise perfect but will still get some kind of redirect like “ you asked for her name before you gave her yours first”. You will no doubt “role play” with your leader. Which is super awkward unless you love acting. You must harass every person who walks by asking millions of questions. Basically forcing them to talk to you! It becomes awkward especially when a guest doesn’t want to talk. You are basically scripted to what you say to each person. There is a specific verbiage you must use. There is no freedom for you to shine with your own personality. The expectations are not compensated with pay rate. Hours are minimum unless you are the manager or assistant

Pros

- The discount 50% off - My team... THAT I RECRUITED!! - Freedom with visuals - That I no longer work here!!!!! - The Regional Team Leader is very positive That’s about it.....

Cons

First, be prepared to HAVE NO CONTROL!!! OF YOUR FOUR WALLS. Your DTL will tell you all day that it’s your store, but everyone you interview from Management-Stylist your DTL has to interview, SO IT TAKES THREE WEEKS TO HIRE ANYONE! Unless her “flavor” of the month needs someone, she moves quickly, or expects other stores to loan out their entire team to cover the district. Don’t get attached to your management... because as soon as you train them, they are moved to another store under the same title so SOMEONE ELSE can promote them in a week and get CREDIT for work they DIDN’T DO!!! The DTL is never concerned about why these people eventually leave...... it’s because they aren’t bought into someone they HAVE KNOWN FOR TWO SHIFTS! The DTL violates every HR law in the book, from discussing your career with peers, making discriminatory comments and “motivating” you by dangling promotions. ( which NEVER happen) I have been in retail for 10 years!! And and i have never had such A UNPROFESSIONAL DM! I have been a store manager for 6 years, and this is the Worst company I have every worked for. Now, the pay.... depending on Tier... IT STILL SUCKS! They expect you to work at least 42 hours, but on average I worked 50-60 hours per week... Still told Its not enough. The schedule goes Thursday-Wednesday because god forbid you get to shave yourself, or be able to even know what freaking day it is. Oh and don’t get me started on the visits... the entire moral of the team changes while the DTL is there because either the DTL has lied to half of them, made promises that weren’t kept, or says “THATS NOT RIGHT” and embarrasses the stylist-and never acknowledges the progress that they have made. The District has changed twice in less than a year. The gossip within the district is ridiculous.... and the one who starts it IS OUR LEADER! The “promise” is the WORST SELLING MODEL EVER! when you have 4 people in your BTQ and they all hear you say A SCRIPTED genuine connection.... ITS NOT GENUINE!!! Oh and don’t trust your peers. Nothing about this company is GENUINE. I have been selling for 10 years and this is the worst model. Your target guest is. 26 (according to them), when on the weekends you have 15 teenagers walk in with 10 dollars and I’m suppose to do the PROMISE! It’s completely unrealistic.
