Pros

Staff was pleasant to work with. And honestly that was just about it.

Cons

My manager personally didn't do a great job of making her employees feel valued. When she talked to you about your performance she would belittle you or talk down. And then upper level management didn't make you feel any better. When someone said they talked to the district it was only because someone was in trouble. I finally quit when my manager called the store to say "if I were to talk to every costumer in the store right now about your performance how would you think they'd respond?" I'm sorry, but that isn't going to make your employees feel like you actually value them or care for their improvement. Don't start off the conversation belittling me, just straight up and tell me someone wasn't greeted and I was notified that's it! Management knew from the very beginning that I was working a full time job and this part time job, they did not care. My manager told me the night I quit that it was "unfortunate" that I had my full time job. So if you have another job whether it be FT or PT this company will not care. With my 40 hours from my full time job, they would still schedule me roughly 20 hours a week, and you have to work on weekends even though that means I worked 6 sometimes 7 days a week. They did not care that I would work 14 hour days and sometimes everyday, my manager said that was unfortunate. I also think the Fran Promise (which is how the whole store runs) is not practical.

Pros

-cute clothing/jewelry/trinkets -30% discount -usually every store is nicely organized and the back room is organized also -has nice interior

Cons

-management can be shady -management is unorganized, didn't communicate with ABM or KH -they don't really care who they hire, they hire just to have people in the store -super high turnover rate for KH and BA (Key Holder) (Boutique Associate) -the "Francesca's Promise" is insane and super annoying...it's basically a script with lines that you have to say (in order) to EVERY customer. BA: "Hi welcome in! (Insert fake compliment on customers outfit" C: "oh thank you!" BA: "well my name is _____, what's your name?" C: "(insert name)" BA: "alright ____, what are you shopping for today?" C: "I'm just looking around." BA: "well let me show you this necklace, isn't it cute? Oh and this dress, and this blouse and shirtandpantsandshoesandcoffeemugandcandle" C: "oh I'm fine I'm just looking" BA: "here let me start you a fitting room with this dress I picked out, you just have to try it on it'll be so cute!!" By then the customer is so annoyed and really just came in to look around. Every encounter is unoriginal and fake. Constantly had complaints about how no one wants to come into the store anymore because the employees talk too much. My KH always encouraged us to be ourselves and have genuine convos/greetings instead of the "promise"...therefore we had happier customers and always made day.
