Pros

None. Zero. Zilch. If you are a glutton for punishment, then this place is for you. If you respect your family, financial health and mental stability run far, far away.

Cons

If you're reading this you've either left this cesspool or are considering a sentence in slave labor. You see all of those job postings out there for Francesca's? There's a reason. If you're hired on as a part-timer aka key holder or boutique associate, unless you have an excellent boutique manager who is shielding you, you will be expected to work much harder and have much more responsibility than you're paid for. You will be underpaid and no manager will be able to fix it. They have no say. If you join the management team you will most likely fantasize how your resignation letter will sound within the first 3 months. On average, store managers are lasting about six months. Assistants? Think weeks. As a member of management you are at the mercy of your RD and DM, who clearly either lack any form of morals or don't care. How else can you explain forcing managers to work ten hour shifts up to 7 days a week, as a salaried employee. (If you think that's a joke, feel free to ask a manager at your nearest location. A member of management will be the employee that looks on the verge of a heart attack.) The payscale verses labor load is disgusting and don't dare think you can speak to HR. Managers who take a stand against 70hr work weeks tend to disappear. There are rules up the ying-yang and merely sneezing the wrong way will get you the threat of a write up. So many rules...to bad NONE and I mean NONE are in writing, anywhere! The employee handbook is electronic only; you aren't given a copy and good luck finding it anywhere. They make up rules depending on the day and punish you in the same manner. And trust me, punish you they will. If you want to give every second of your life to this company, literally live in starvation, feel completely demoralized, take verbal abuse and threats, while losing all sense of self worth, than by all means join this place. But if you have ANY shred of common sense you will read the other reviews on here and run all the way to F21. At least you get bathroom breaks there.

Pros

Flexibility, great community, growth opportunities, supportive executives

Cons

Nothing about the business. Liquidation and closure of the brand was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
