Worst Decision ever made

Pros

Started off great, as I came over with a Team and our TL made it sound like the best decision ever, were we wrong. From day 2, it went downhill, so there are no Pros to report.

Cons

'Almost' everyone cares more about revenue share than the actual business. They tend to forget what we are here to for, and that is to assist the Home buyer and Home seller buy and sell their homes. Not buy and sell a real estate company. The culture does not exist because each Agent is out for themselves, and themselves only. Not why I received my Real Estate License. Due to the Agent's, we aligned with constantly calling me asking how many Agents I have added to my downline almost daily, I had enough and it was time to go. Money doesn't drive me, helping my community does.

Pros

The pros used to be the benefits, however, eXp was quickly stripping them away and raising costs on benefits like healthcare.

Cons

eXp is a collapsing company that has no chance of lasting in the long run. Their management teams are without a doubt, pathetic at best. Please be mindful as you’re reading through the reviews that many have been falsified by current employees working in the HR, hiring, and onboarding teams or are left by high-profit real estate agents that staff are told to provide nothing but “white glove” service to. Meanwhile, other agents and all staff are treated like garbage stuck to the sole of Glenn Stanford’s loafer. They are a highly unethical company who was twice now violated the US WARN act in regards to mass layoffs of employees. Employees were advised that eXp was needing to build “financial guardrails” days before unexpectedly, and without notice, laying off 15% of their American based workforce. In this same meeting, they boasted record profits leaving most employees confused why layoffs were occurring. Further research brought employees to finding that eXp is hiring in mass in other countries for the positions that were laid off here. All employee concerns and questions are disregarded and trashed by the “People Team”. The entire company is in shambles and crumbling due to egotistical and greedy higher-ups. it will not be long till Glenn Sanford is sitting with nothing like the many he left without jobs to build “financial guardrails” on his supposed billion dollar business.

Pros

Flexibility Lack of commute Some brilliant, delightful peers

Cons

The major con is that a few months ago I would have given eXp a five-star rating without hesitation. However, as anyone reading these by date can see, a regime change has sent the internal side of operations into a tailspin. Morale is in the dumpster and upper management, while very aware, does not care. We went from collaborative and cooperative to cold and authoritarian in a near instant. Restructuring is leading to work for works' sake, with too little time to ensure processes are done properly. Instead of measuring twice and cutting once, we're being told to not measure at all so we can cut MORE. Six months ago I could have seen myself here for years, if not decades. Now I can't imagine staying for the remainder of the year. FYI, everything the other internal reviews highlighted is 100% accurate. If you are looking at an internal position at this company, I'd suggest going somewhere else, at least for the foreseeable future.
