Experience and expertise aren’t valued. Disingenuous ass-kissing is. If you value your self-worth, have pride in your work ethic, are curious and want to further your career, stay away. This goes all the way to the top. The CMO embodies the most negative aspects. It trickles down from there. This brand will sink and those who were warned will shrug, lay the people off who executed leadership’s poor ideas, and then they’ll cash their bonus checks. High-functioning people need not apply. Highly insecure people should.
