Pros

Product is good but not much different from competitors at this point

Cons

- pay is bad. Even if you have tons of experience they’re going to offer you an SMB rep comp package -culture is horrible. It’s basically a call center / boiler room. Legit feels like a b2c sale - management is insane. My manager heavily implied to me that I need to consistently work weekends

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry to hear that your experience is less than ideal. Regarding compensation, we are constantly evaluating the market and ensuring that we are paying above market for OTE. As for the comment about Henry, I can assure you that nobody is more accountable or passionate than him. He, along with the rest of our senior leaders, is open-minded and fervent about the success of ZoomInfo and our employees.

Terrible leadership

Pros

You learn to develop a backbone because you will learn really quickly leadership cares about making money more than they do being diplomatic and running an efficient company.

Cons

This company is horrible - leadership has no idea how to turn this into a well developed system so they literally just lay people off and try to re-arrange teams all the time - disorganization everywhere and Henry and Chris are so disconnected and have no empathy for anything they are all about $$$$ at the cost of their top talent and even customer relationships

Hi, Chad Herring here, CHRO for ZI. This recent and only RIF the company conducted in our history was a tough decision and we tried to make it as soft a landing as possible for the people impacted. This is why we communicated very transparently about why we did it and the severance packages we were providing to impacted employees. Our Founder & CEO and President & COO are very close to the business's daily operations, so much so that long-time AEs, Directors, and Managers regularly contact them directly with ideas. Unlike other tech companies, the team built a high-growth but durable business, which helped us avoid the vast RIF numbers we've seen at other companies. We provide as competitive compensation, stock grants, and benefits as possible while maintaining a strong and growing business that will be around for 50 years. The suggestion box for all employees is always wide open.

Pros

By far the best product and sales enablement.

Cons

Mandatory morning meetings with nothing but The Wolf of Wall Street quotes. Directors and above are individual contributors who were promoted with zero director experience and don't know how to run a team. You're expected to start selling in the 2nd week. Remote work is not actually remote, it's hybrid. They are "constantly hiring" only to fire as many AE's as they're bringing on to make it look like they are constantly growing. Feedback is non-existent. Atrocious directors and senior directors. All they say is "you got this" and "show me the money" and "you need to do better"...with absolutely zero actual helpful thoughts. Do NOT fall for the trap of applying here it is a waste of time. You're expected to work 60 hour weeks. Absolutely horrible management and expectations.

Thank you for chiming in and leaving a review. We take all feedback seriously, and this is helpful to understand our reps’ pain points so we can continuously improve our employee experience about help people thrive. We are constantly evaluating the organization, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to drive our long-term growth and success. And, you are correct that we still continue hiring in key parts of the company, mainly in sales, while we look to drive efficiencies around the organization. We offer targeted learning programs for our managers to continue to grow their skills in giving feedback and coaching. For example, our Management Accelerator program focuses on the essential management skills that all people leaders at ZoomInfo are expected to master. And our Manager Success Labs enable our managers to practice their skills through role plays and guided exercises, to enable them to tackle real-world managerial challenges. We are sorry your experience was less than great and we wish you the best of luck in your next endeavor.
