Pros

Comp can be quite high despite being a lower tier tech company (however if you are paid too high this puts a target on your back whenever layoffs happen).

Cons

* Constant attrition due to senior management constantly letting go of high valued and high performing employees. In my time I saw a series of managers, execs, and principal engineers constantly being let go. Many were high performers or had been at the company 10+ years, but management at ZoomInfo is short sighted and is only aiming to maximize each quarter's profit rather than long term investment. * Company is outsourcing high paying tech jobs to lower cost countries (e..g. Israel) * Culture is quite toxic and aggressive. There are many for-profit companies who make tons of money but still manage to have a great culture. ZoomInfo is not one of these.

Thanks for your feedback. You’re quite right – working with us can be lucrative with our generous compensation packages and equity opportunities provided to every employee. Opportunities for advancement are plentiful and we have a strong culture of mobility and promoting from within. Building ZoomInfo into a world class organization has meant we have scaled and adjusted quickly to support our burgeoning customer base and their ever-evolving needs. We are looking for people with passion that will help us build essential structures that we can use to develop solutions to problems our customers don’t even know they have yet. We do have a long-term vision in our Engineering organization that is communicated in our All Hands Meetings. Our Engineering leadership team has an open-door policy and welcomes two-way feedback. Regarding our Israel office, it is not accurate to suggest that our colleagues there are “outsourced.” We have a large team in Israel that is and has always been an integral part of ZoomInfo. Since last year we have been working hard to integrate many company cultures that have come to the ZoomInfo family through acquisition into one cohesive culture that resonates with employees. We can’t do this in a silo, so we reach out on a regular basis to encourage participation in focus groups, surveys and other channels in order to develop employee-centric engagement programs. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and thank you for your time and efforts at ZoomInfo! -ZoomInfo Employee Experience Team

Pros

you can advance quickly if your idea of work/life balance looks like 10+ hour work days where you are guilted and shamed into eating at your computer with little to no breaks

Cons

There are so many things wrong with this place - I don't know where to start. You are truly just a number to them, and if you don't hit your quota for a certain number of consecutive months you are quietly fired, but no one even notices because they are always hiring like crazy. You are disposable. Expect to be belittled, shamed, and extremely micro-managed on a daily basis when you are constantly being told that you are not doing enough to help the company make more money. Don't take this job unless you absolutely have to.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. You are accurate in your assessment that internal mobility is highly valued at Zoominfo. Managers will encourage employees regarding the next steps in their career and help to get them there. It does appear that you had an unusual experience during your tenure with us and given that employee experience is extremely important to us, we would like to learn more. Please reach out to us at HRfeedback@zoominfo.com.

Pros

Cool building, has some decent people in Vancouver

Cons

This is honestly a toxic workplace. I heard they finally fired some upper management that needed to go, so maybe things are looking up. Look elsewhere for a job.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you enjoyed working in our Vancouver office as we had recently expanded and renovated office space - due to covid most employees are not yet able to enjoy the new spaces as they are working from home. We continue to strive towards doing our best to provide an exceptional employee experience and we thank you for the time you spent with us. If you would like to reach out to us at HRfeedback@zoominfo.com we would like to understand any specifics that we might be able to address to improve our workplace.
