Pros

The only silver lining of working here is the benefits are really good. They cover most of your health insurance, provide free lunches, and have fun company events.

Cons

They fire lots of people whenever they feel like it. They fired a large part of my team without warning. The trainers don't train correctly and they blame their employees for not doing their job right when we did what we're told. The grading criteria is super strict and it works against support agents to the point it's unrealistic to pass QA. The pay is low for the amount of work the leads ask of you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we really appreciate it. We're sorry to hear that you didn’t had a good experience at Wise, particularly when it came to training and expectations of agents. At Wise, we believe in building a culture of continuous growth and learning. It starts with our onboarding process. Everyone attends our company onboarding program, followed by function specific onboarding and training. We regularly revise and iterate these programs based on feedback and best practice to ensure they are designed to support Wisers to perform their roles successfully. Every employee also receives a professional development budget to use for building their skills and development. Our commitment to investing in learning and development for all team members reflects our dedication to creating an environment where everyone can thrive and contribute to our mission. We are also committed to making transparent decisions around how to structure our teams to ensure the best outcomes for our customers while providing the best employee experience. We sometimes have to make difficult decisions to make sure we’re set up for long term success. For those directly impacted by those decisions, we aim to treat every Wiser with fairness and respect as we manage those processes. I do hope you were able to pass on your feedback before you left. If you're up for sharing more, we’d be keen to hear more about your experiences. Please drop us an email to employerbrand@wise.com. Nicola

Pros

To me, none what so ever.

Cons

It seems like everyone else is having a good time, but may be I am just on a team with bad culture. I have been in a meeting where 2 of my team members were yelled at by a lead and the rest of the leads just watched and did not interfere - didn't check with us on how we were all feeling after. Or having someone in the team giving eng lead attiude, infront of all of us. Also got yelled at by an engineer in a team meeting because he was fustraited was something. Could've given constructive feedback. I have been working for a decade also, and never seen anything like this. Nor have anyone spoken to me like this.

Pros

Authentic and legit, with attractive benefits

Cons

When things go south, no one seems to want to step up to take responsibility and do something. I was hired for the position of Customer Support Associates (English Speaker) - visa sponsorship. Since I was not in Estonia, I had to apply for a visa. Estonia does not have an embassy in my country, hence I had to fly 8hrs, book hotel for 14days in another country(all at my own expenses). Only for the visa to be refused despite the document the company provided. I let them know it was declined and the mobility team representative asked me to appeal (still my own money). I appealed and it was still declined. I noticed the mobility rep. And next she said was that I would be contacted by my recruiter for the next step. After having spent over €2,103 on flights, hotel, feeding, visa fee, appeal fee etc. The recruiter contacted me and told me they had no choice but to rescind the job offer. And that was it. Just like that. Since I had already resigned from my previous job offer after accepting a job offer from Wise, now being jobless in my home country, I had to start looking for a job all over again.
