Pros
I have worked for this company for almost 5 years now. I did at one point take another opportunity and left, but I missed the company and came back within 2 months of my departure. The Village Green I know has been nothing short of wonderful. I entered this company with no experience in the Real Estate market, and they have taught me everything I know – not only about the industry and the job responsibilities, but also how to excel as a manager and a leader. The Area Directors and Vice President take an active role in site and employee success. They even give out their personal numbers so all site employees can contact them if they ever need anything, which is very rare in a big company like this. I have never worked for a company who was so dedicated to the success of each and every one of its employees and that provided so many resources for improvement. Yes, this company, like any other, holds their staff accountable and pushes them to perform as well as they know they can. Without high goals one can only expect to be mediocre. This company provides training and incentives when an employee is struggling and provides recognition and more challenges when an employee is excelling. Every employee should show their work ethic and be communicative about any support they feel they need. Village Green will provide everything you need to succeed – you just need to be an active participant in your development. They promote from within as much as possible, so the opportunity is there if you take it. They also have maintenance appreciation events, sales meetings, and manager meetings as a way to bring employees together and thank them for their hard work. The health benefits and 401K are great, and we are given more than enough vacation time. I would recommend this company - it's a great place to work!
