Pros

Mature employees, great discount. The store is clean, and sometimes they feed you.

Cons

Finish-time goals are no longer possible to meet; merchandise processing schedules are simply to be done at a certain time whether or not 7 people called in sick that day or you have a full crew (which we never do). Our managers are pushing us to meet our goals, but it's no longer possible most of the time. A salary freeze (meaning no raises until further notice) has gone into effect. The health insurance offered is terrible - you can get better just as an individual. Strangely, there's no coffee machine at work, and they don't want one there, particularly. We're chronically understaffed - and many applicants are passed over because the store can't offe any more full-time positions.

Pros

Good starting pay, though they are not fair in setting up pay. Some people start out making more than others, although the job description is the same.

Cons

CULT-LIKE! From the first day, they talk so well about the company (and horribly about competitors) that it brainwashes you into believing that they are the best. Everyone seems so happy when you first start, then in time you notice how miserable they all are. The managers talk so bad about the other places that it makes you feel guilty about shopping at other places. They push and push their workers into dedicating their LIVES to the store. You start to notice how crazy some of the workers become, almost like zombies. It's very hard to juggle another life or job while there because they expect you there most of the time. They schedule you in whenever they need you, even if you can not work those hours.
