Pros

It's an at home job.

Cons

Everything. I was transferred over from another branch to ensure I didn't get fired, but even then I wish I was fired. Not only do your bosses/team leads treat you like you're the bottom of the barrel, they also do not encourage you to do better. The training for this job was maybe 20 minutes because they spent the other 3 days prior trying to get everyone's tech check done. Whenever you want help you get screamed at to "look at your job aid". Emails are never answered. They pile on more work without giving proper training. They put on a video and hope you remember it. They don't care about the customers. When you try to help others in their chat filled with over 100 agents, the Team Leads yell at you. So you can't even help your fellow coworkers when they're having issues. The biggest thing, other than getting ridiculed, is the technical difficulties: -You can never hear your customers -The customers cannot hear you -Then they try to say it's your systems that are at fault yet 50 other agents are having similar issues. So, do not work here. Not even as a first job at a call center. Never work for Solutran.

Pros

Working from home could be the only plus that this company provides. The project I began with seemed promising and had a trainer who happened to be respectful and have a helpful attitude. Other than that this company has nothing but negatives.

Cons

Where do I start? The management in this company for one is nonexistent. You basically have people who are not on one accord whatsoever. Everyone pretty much has the CYOA method and nobody really is there to help each other. When coming to supervisors or leads about anything, they seem like they don't want to be bothered or have a "no can do" attitude which makes anyone on the lower level feel intimidated and that they don't have a say in any matters concerning their employment. Training is basically a lot of information thrown at you. You must hope that you learn enough to apply it to real-life situations. The trainers are pretty much the same way with the supervisors, they have absolutely no idea what they are doing and lack any form of ethics or respect towards their coworkers. Working environment. Being that I was a work at home employee, I still felt the childishness and disorganization within this company even at a distance. No one was on one accord. Systems constantly failing, software crashing, not being able to get into my computer environment because my software was faulty or some crazy work booth issue. It just a recipe for disaster and there's nothing worse than for somebody to blame you and accuse you of being late when obviously it was something out of your control which is their glitchy system causing you to be late. Always technical issues almost daily and instead of fixing the issue, they would much rather instead blame you because well they can of course. There’s no accountability for anyone above you, so you feel frustrated and in the end that’s why many people quit. I’ve seen people express their concerns in chat or group meetings, but they are told they are out of line or to deal with it, and that’s not fair whatsoever. This company is terrible. I have worked at many companies before and dealt with many “workplace issues” but I’ve never worked for a company remotely that has this much unprofessionalism and disrespect from its workers than I have here. I’ve encountered nasty and rude supervisors who usually would end up quitting only a few days later without any notice. Rules and guideline changing daily. People confused and having no knowledge of any of the work projects that they are on. Management have no clue who you are. You are just a number on the ladder. No one really cares you exist, that is until you make a mistake or do something wrong, they are ready to put you in your place. It’s madness. I finally took the courage and left. I was only staying on for a paycheck (not that it’s even much anyway) and even then, I wanted to stick around and be loyal, and try to give my best to the company. I have not been treated with any respect, supervisors gossip about employees behind their back, disrespectful and combative team leads. This place is awful, and I am so glad I got away from it.
