Pros

Working from home means no commute, no fancy clothes giving you extra time all the way around!

Cons

Technical difficulties every singe day I worked, your Team Leader never gets back to you with an answer, or I should say the correct answer, pressure to get rid of the call in under 60 seconds after playing 20 questions with the customer!

Pros

The pay and benefits are reasonable for the type of work you have to do. You do get incentives for making sales. The hours are flexible and you can swap with other agents to fit your life work needs. Remote work is allowed.

Cons

However, the stress experienced trying to meet the unreasonable demands that the upper management puts on their front-line agents the pros do not compensate for it. Upper and lower management does not listen to their agents which is why so many good agents have left. Agents are written up for the most petty things and put on 60-day probation for improvement. It seems like the lower management only cares about covering their assets if the performance measures are not met. It seems like they are not looking out for the best interests of the people that are making them the money they crave which is the only bottom line that they care about. The lower management does not recognize when agents are mentally drained and are unable to meet the stressful demands of this job only keeping the upper management off their back if the performance measures are not met. You have to pretend that you are upbeat and happy while most of the potential customers and members treat you like crap especially if they recognize that you fall into the minority group. The upper management does not pay too much attention to you if you fall into the minority group even if you are meeting and exceeding all performance measures. The incentives they give you for making sales are rigged so that the company and its clients will make more money off the sales generated. I have read the financial reports of this company and its clients and I have seen since working with them their revenue has increased yearly but our pay has not been commensurate with the amount of money they are making. Also, since many of us work at home the company does not have the overhead they used to have when they had to maintain a lot of buildings and all the other expenses that come with that much of those expenses have been passed on to us. We have to pay for our home where our offices are now, internet, phones, and electricity which we have to use for our job but we do not get compensated for that.

Pros

Paid training, provides computer and headset, somewhat competitive pay for work at home. Pto and minimal health benefits for full time only. Almost anyone can work here it's a very diverse company with many fields and levels of employment. Great for beginners and those who have other sources of steady income.

Cons

Extremely high turnover. They will let you go at the most random inconvenient time so have a backup plan and save money! No communication between departments. If they hire too many people you won't know until it's too late. They'll just send an email out of the blue saying you can't work. The hand doesn't know what the head is doing. Depending on the position, you will work a random schedule with any hours they deem fit regardless of what they tell you, it is subject to change due to the "nature of the business". Don't listen to their company values speech, it's not true. They don't value their employees you're just a number. Seniority in the company doesn't mean anything unless you actually know people in the company which is almost impossible unless you work in one of their physical offices. This is not a long-term job, expect to work on and off for the rest of your employment there.
