Pros

Management knows the job is a soul-sucking Hell and they try to make everyone feel good about working there.

Cons

The job is a soul-sucking Hell. You have to account for literally every minute you are clocked in. Customers are mean and unreasonable, especially when the options to meeting their demands are limited and you have to uphold corporate rules.

Pros

You get to work from home so you can roll out of bed and it doesn't matter what you are wearing. I was lucky and don't have to work weekends. You get help from the people who have worked there a while. The pay hadn't bad but with what you deal with every day it isn't enough.

Cons

Inadequate training. You can't rely on any help from your supervisor. The computer system you work with freezes and crashes constantly, so phone calls that should take 15-20 minutes sometimes take over an hour. It is very hard to give excellent customer service if you have computer issues every day. If you go to IT with an issue and it takes too long, they might not let you finish the rest of your day. Also if your computer breaks and you have to wait for them to send you a new one, you don't get paid for those days you are not working, even though it is not your fault.

Pros

You get to work from home. pay is good. they offer paid time off, training, paid vacation, and holidays, sick days but fail to mention that the only thing you will be getting is the paid training in the beginning. Offer benefits and a 401k.

Cons

They are liars. Their equipment is crappy and always has tech issues. They will harrass new hires that they wrongfully terminate and demand the new hires return their equipment immediately. They will wrongfully fire new hires. It is a hostile environment to work in. Retaliatory firings, which is why they want people to report everything posted at their former employee website because they want to know the person's identity and will use the person's bad experience with TTEC as a cautionary tale in their training classes to fear monger, silence and threaten (veiled threatens but threats no less new hires into keeping silent or ABC will happen. Which they are quite successful at silencing former employees they have wrongfully terminate, if one takes into consideration that ttec is allowed to continue to operate and collect government contracts along with various other contracts! They openly practice the hire to fire scheme and then will blame the New hire. They give ultimatums and if one refuses to choose the option ttec wants to choose; ttec will fire the new hire and suggest it is the new hires fault in the separation email all to cover their behinds for wrongfully firing new hires. The "leadership" of this company is the wrong type of leadership. The "leadership" of this company will actively set up new hires for failure, they will take credit for a new hires extraordinary efforts, they do not follow the company motto or company policies whatsoever and despite the fact their motto claims to understand and care. It's a lie. They will actively fire new hires with health issues that would qualify these new hires for an ADA and they fire these ADA new hires before the ADA is sent in. They are discriminatory and openly practices discrimination. During leadership training those that truly possess leadership skills naturally learn that there are two types of companies to work for; The good company and the bad company. The good company lifts everyone up because they know their success is a direct result of their employees, genuinely listens to the concerns of their employees, lives up to their company motto and policies. while the bad company practices illegal activities like wrongfully termination, practices the hire to fire scheme in which they hire a certain number of employees to meet federal quotas and then fires them shortly after, retaliatory termination, dishonesty, openly trashes employees, gives ultimatum, creates
