      Pros

      Globally recognized, large company can win projects easily, lots of resources. Some really good people working there.

      Cons

      Way too political and almost gossipy, long uncompensated hours, women are overlooked and ignored, certain management only knows how to intimidate not motivate. Those Same Managers will listen to gossip about someone's work habits and assume it's true, not follow through and discuss with that person or give them an opportunity to confront their accusers. It's never professional to talk about someone's work performance with their co-workers but not with them............especially when the co-workers are saying that what he's heard is inaccurate.

      Pros

      Large company so for the moment feel confident I will have a job. A lot of very hard working talented people and project teams.

      Cons

      Going through a lot of non positive change. Leadership is a revolving door and has become very political - promotion based on who you know not performance. The fun is gone. Sales, revenue and profitability down. See 2018 4th quarter results. Just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Hours are long and the project teams don’t get much support. A company heading in a bad direction.

      Skanska pays very well, that is how they recruit and keep their employees

      Cons

      Countless, the skill level of your colleagues is below their counterparts at other large companies. The undeserved and unearned arragorance of the employees of Skanska is amazing to see. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
