Pros

Sephora's values were a key part of the business years back and unfortunately are no longer represented. Brand partners are amazing to work with! I wish they were still allowed in the stores. They give so much knowledge and bring positive energy to the environment.

Cons

Upper leadership is unprofessional and speaks negatively about Store teams that even cross the lines with HR. Unless you are in the click of Sephora, you will not advance and this applies to every level in the company. Very sad where the company is now from where Sephora began and what it represented.

Pros

All around a fantastic job, fantastic perks and bonuses. Great company that takes good care of their employees.

Cons

The management at my particular store was terrible. There were repeat offenses involving bullying and discrimination. ALL leads and managers would constantly gossip about other employees making it very tense and uncomfortable to work there after a while. On call shifts were very difficult to manage and shifts were extended as punishment for employees on occasion.

Pros

Company is very profitable. Lots of opportunity to work on new projects. Very progressive with technology. Decent amount of free product.

Cons

Management was completely isolated from the people who do the work. Pet projects were rammed through without regard for readiness or capacity. There was zero work life balance. Leadership frequently talked out of both sides of their mouth.. e.g. family is important, so please attend these multiple weekend meetings and respond to all emails no matter what time of day. Meetings frequently scheduled over lunch hours with no food provided. The environment was a total pressure cooker with many people very unhappy
