Thank you for feedback. As we grow as a Company and as our Customer base grows, we need to have standardized operational procedures in place to ensure we provide the best and consistent customer experience to all customers across our entire network of 120 plus Dealerships. This requires frequent communication about these procedures. Moreover, we gather a tremendous amount of data which we use to share actionable information to our dealerships so we can continue to provide the highest level of support in the most efficient manner.

Pros

Work with some great people and customers who are passionate about the industry. Rush Enterprises pays well but don't let that get you sucked in. The trucking industry is fragmented that creates lots of competition and opportunities in sales and service. That means we strive to be the best all around parts/service/sales/repair option around. But a strong word of caution. That competitive environment causes issues.

Cons

Because...culture is everything. While I am able to maintain a great culture and environment with those I work everyday with, it is the culture of CHQ that has been driving down issues that affect the quality of passion that people had. What used to be a place to go out and make it your own and drive business now has turned into a heavy handed overbearing environment where everyone is tied to their computers looking at and responding to emails. The amount of emails and conference calls from CHQ and the amount of reports is truly insane. You have taken people who have proven themselves in growing the business and turned them into computer nerds analyzing reports and information leaving less and less time to drive the actual business and take care of employees. I get enough FW emails from up the chain and have to put up with mass amounts of Compliance emails that never end whether it's daily/weekly safety reminders or the always informative FYI...please stop the insanity. The engagement surveys for 2 years now I know have generated common issues yet very little has been done. You know who your micromanagers are and those who send out routine emails that no one reads anymore. Do something about it before you lose more good people or fail to attract talent that will end up just PO and leave.
