Pros

Good hours, good starting salaries, lots of work and challenges daily to keep busy with. Good people at the bottom to work with.

Cons

No real upward mobility, but any mobility is based on whom you know not what you know and do. Health care benefits bad. Parking sucks. Management flip flops a lot and doesn't stick to their word. Raises are almost non-existent. Workers are in well defined cliches and either you are in or are badly out.

Pros

Big company, good support resources

Cons

Salaries are not competitive. No work/life balance. I was told I didn't work enough nights and weekends. HR is a joke. I was denied a day off for my daughter's surgery. I filed an ethics complaint. The company has a "no retaliation" policy, and yet I was fired. Stay away from the Telematics department, especially Cynthia Hunter. She has no business being a director and no respect for her employees. She will schedule meetings and show up late, if at all. If you put time on her calendar, she will take over the meeting with her own agenda and disregard what you wanted from her. I received no onboarding, no metrics, and no goals. There was no documentation, no SOPs, and no standardization for the department. I was fired because a new policy was put in place that only applied to me. I live 100 miles from the office and this new policy mandated that I drive to the office every day. The company that does not respect my time now wants an additional 15+ hours on the road. When I told Cynthia that the drive wasn't reasonable and I wished to continue working from home as I have since the beginning of my employment, I was told that I was "voluntarily resigning" albeit against my will. It makes it feel a lot less voluntary and a lot more like I was fired.
