Pros

You get 30% off all products, and you get a free uniform allowance every 3 months, where you can get tops and bottoms for free. Also good for hiring students, and as they have a high turnover of staff, there are often jobs available.

Cons

As a lower level employee who does manual work (i.e processing deliveries of stock), we get treated disgustingly in comparison to the sales advisors that work in store. We are spoken to like filth by several managers in our store, and are made to feel unimportant and below the other members of staff. No discount cards so a manager has to authorise staff discount; which they they complain about to every other member of staff in sight whilst still in front of you. There is little to no room to grow in the business, as we are given so few hours (between 9 and 15 a week) you cannot prove yourself enough to gain a promotion. Also, level 2 supervisors are treated disgustingly. They receive 10p more than minimum wage per hour, and yet have a huge list of responsibilities, which they are held accountable for should something go wrong.

Pros

The team members I worked with were lovely. 30% Discount. Managers were very flexible if I found it hard to work a certain day. If I put in effort and my time then managers would do the same. Like working with family rather than employees. First pick of all the sale items. Free uniform.

Cons

There was one manager that used to think she was better than everyone and spoke to you like dirt. You only got £150 on your 30% discount. You would sometimes have to stay till past your shift to make the shop look nice. When launching sale you would be there till sometimes 1-2am in the morning.

Pros

Given the opportunity to learn every aspect of working in the retail store and have a stable contract. the ability to transfer stores has been ideal for me and extra shifts are easy to come by if you want them. uniform allowance has been very useful to save money as well as to represent the brand. This was my first job and unfortunately left due to leaving the country but have working in 3 stores and has been a pleasure working in all of them. I have learnt many new skills and have become a more confident person.

Cons

sale prep is a nightmare where ever you go, but working up to 13 hour shifts with no extra pay at antisocial hours can be frustrating. There also isn't any opportunity for benefits such as commission when promotions or incentives occur which doesn't give you so much motivation to push for them unfortunately.
