Great work/life balance, anytime I needed off I would receive it. I was payed pretty decently for being a cashier. All the employees are friends with each other and are happy to cover for you. They are also really helpful, anytime you had a questions someone was there to answer it. It was a Pep Boys family lol All the cashiers had an Opportunity to move up and become a manager.

Cons

I've experienced a few costumers who were sexiest towards me and other female employees.

Pros

Casual laid-back atmosphere. No one is jumping down your throat in my department. People are generally nice.

Cons

It takes a long time to get an idea off the ground. By the time you implement, the idea has morphed into something else. Some dead weight around at the corporate offices. People just riding it out is the feeling you get. IT applications are outdated. Many people still on Office 2003. Haven't had an all-departmental meeting in months. Not sure what the overall strategy is for my department or the company in general. Corporate office is old and drab Lots of systemic problems that drain the company of money.

Very friendly work environment, excellent training and skills development, pretty decent work-life balance. In-house gym is definitely a great perk.

Cons

Salary could be a little better, maybe some better perks such as flex work capability, and better defined promotion path
