      Pros

      It's a paycheck. There really aren't too many benefits to working for the company other than it is a paying job. The Road Ahead is a good idea, poorly planned, and poorly implemented.

      Cons

      Pep Boys will take every chance they can to screw you over. They promised me an amount salary, and then do not pay anywhere close to that. They lie through there teeth and do not hold any accountability. Pep Boys does not promote from within at all. They do not even hire qualified people to work here. The Road Ahead change they are doing is a great idea, but they are screwing over almost every employee to do it. The district managers are absolutely terrible at handling employee concerns, and it is very much so an "old mans club"

      no reason to work here,unless you are a male mechanic..apparently they are perfect

      You get to drive a company truck and get to work on your people skills.

      Cons

      The pay is terrible, people are lazy pushing their work onto you if you're trying to get noticed for a promotion (co-workers do this), expect you to go in for a quarter meeting at 7am on a Sunday, after a year of working my butt off and asking for numerous promotions I was put on "hold" while I was the hardest worker doing not only my job but others.
