Pros

New aircraft, nice co-workers and great travel benefits. As long as you are doing what you are supposed to be doing, you will work under very minimal supervision.

Cons

You don't always stay in the best locations on overnights. Days can be very long without time to grab a bite to eat.

Pros

Great if you are Charlotte based.

Cons

After a 4 day trip, I was advised by our Doc and the Captain to go to urgent care because my knee was double in size and I couldn’t walk. I muscled through the pain from day two just to finish the trip. I called out to crew scheduling and was advised that I need to go back to the gate and do a Buffalo turn. I explained that I could not work and was headed to urgent care. She said she would put it down that I refused the trip. I said I am a safety hazard, I’m being wheeled out of the airport as we speak. It didn’t matter and she put it down as a refusal. I quit that day. I realized that I was just a warm body and that’s all that mattered. Could not get in touch with a supervisor.

Pros

flight benefits on American airlines and paid training

Cons

-some of the lowest pay in the industry for flight attendants, the union is a joke, the company does not feel that we deserve a raise -expectations are high, they want us to act like mainline AA but compensate us as we work at McDonald's -lowest pay of all 3 wholly owned regionals -supervisors are a joke, if you try to protect yourself or defend yourself you risk becoming a target for retaliation -only 10 days off minimum when pilots/other wholly-owned regionals have 11 days off -no commuter hotels for flight attendants when pilots/other wholly-owned regionals have them -horrible sick time accrual, 3 hours a month which doesn't even cover 1 day of work -terribly built schedules, 4-day trips worth 12 hours = no money -toxic work environment -every other department gets raises except for flight attendants
