Pros

Met some good people in my time at this company. Great, inspirational founders.

Cons

'Leadership'. The top heavy organization is filled with first time people managers who train on you. Highly political and people run useless initiatives just to get promoted. Doing great work is not enough. You have to play the game. There is no such thing as career advancement here. You move from one bad org to another and there is a lot of churn in the engineering teams.

Pros

Company offers growth opportunities, great leaders with vision, diverse and inclusive culture, Sky-is-the-limit attitude, customer/employee centric company. Real tech unicorn story.

Cons

Managing rapid growth is challenging. Finding the right team (people, structure and leadership) has been a long process - so much change has been challenging for some teams.

Pros

- Culture: Open collaborative environment and ethos of helping out your fellow coworker makes for great team dynamics - Work: Cushy work environment, decent pay, great people - Career: If you want to see the ins-and-outs of a scaling company, this is the place to be. Ambiguous and down-right chaotic at times

Cons

- Culture: "You're struggling? Just keep working harder! Growth mindset!" Culture is at the point of being cultish at times and used against employees who speak up or question management practices - Work: Top 25 University graduates + most mind-numbing inane tasks + throwing them into the fray with little to no guidance = Ennui and general feeling of discontent - Praise: Favoritism and nepotism is rampant. Credit isn't properly given to those who produce quality work
