Pros

- IPO around the corner after years of promises

Cons

- seems like like everywhere else medallia is trying to paint a rosier picture on Glassdoor that is not reflective of the truth. I find it hard to stomach the resounding positive reviews when internal employee sentiment seems to be diametrically opposite

Pros

Pre-IPO company with not very many prospects.

Cons

The architects at Medallia could barely qualify for staff engineer position in any other silicon valley company. All of them have risen due to brown nosing rather than accomplishing something significant. If you are not from Argentina you do not belong here.

Pros

- nice peers and perks, a good starting point if you want to live in the Bay Area

Cons

- Terrible management, Professional Services is a torturous place to be in, especially in Managed Services. I know they're recruiting heavily for fresh analysts. If you can avoid working here, please do. The work is mundane and with a top heavy organization there's extremely limited chance for growth. Most of the current analysts are just looking for their exit strategy, and many of them will leave the company soon. To recruiting: don't sell us as a technology consulting firm. We are literally "fancy customer support"

Thank you for your feedback. I regret that your experience in Professional Services has fallen far short of your expectations. We’ve been making a lot of changes this year in order to scale our fast-growing company. Though the changes were designed to provide more value to our customers and employees, they clearly have not yet benefitted you, which is disappointing. I have to respectfully disagree with one of your assertions, that growth is limited within Professional Services. In fact, within the last twelve months, we have promoted more than a third of the Professional Services team globally. We are devoted to building excellent career paths in all functions here at Medallia – including our Professional Services organization. I’d LOVE to get more information from you. We have just launched our semi-annual employee survey. It would be great if you could provide specifics about what you’re experiencing. Also, we are interviewing people across the company, including in Professional Services, to do a deeper dive into company culture.
