Pros

Lovely London HQ and great computer set up provided for at home workers.

Cons

I have now handed in my resignation, however management can be quite demanding. Some of the managers are lovely, however quite high expectations and during peak times, you will be overloaded with calls and emails to the max. Too many meetings a week to complete the expected daily amount of work.

Pros

Salary is good for nationals of non-european countries.

Cons

The company does not show any appreciation for your job at sea, the food is very bad, the cabins are horrible in most of the ships, there is no bonus for working on christmas or new years eve and even there is no kind message or better food for this days despite they saying there is. There is no organization and HIGH stress levels in all departments. The company is highly partial to italian employees. Although they will tell you can grow, there is only growth if you are absolutely willing to put yourself, your life and well being first. There is no care upon employees, and i had several managers, and assistants and worked with all departments. There is no real good complain managment, therefore the company does not take responsability and accontability for it's flaws and makes the employees pay for them. Salary is not enough for the amount of job and extra hours you have to do everyday. EXPLOITATION.

Pros

I will say thus far the word "flexibility" has remained true to me. I truly enjoy working alongside my team and colleagues, everyone for the most part has been pleasant and no signs of intense strain. My scope of work has grown and there is room for opportunity for improvements which is a good sign of being able to grow as an individual and professionally.

Cons

The review process seems a bit unfair, you get a "yearly" review but it's only when reviewing season per the company calendar is due. For example, I was hired Oct 22' and completed my year in 23' but I am not "due" a review until the next company yearly review timeframe in Spring 2024.... so I won't be able to accurately review and discuss my first year without including other timing factors. I really struggle with the hybrid mindset as I truly believe everything we do in the office we can do at home. I don't see the true value in a collaborative environment as our team is split between two offices.
