Pros

Only pro is no work only time pass literally salary for no work, so if you no aims in life, dont want to be in pace with latest technology then go for it. Also if you are preparing for other examination then you will get ample time and resources. Facilities are per industry standards. You can go for walks after lunch, evening time so you can concentrate on your health as well.

Cons

Worst senior management nothing good to say about them. If you get 5 rating that is the highest then you your appraisal would be 10 percent else in single digit. Lot of firing in last few years. Actually their main source of income was fixedline connections in US which is going out of trend so company is losing lot of revenue.

Pros

There is an intention to move the company out its 19th century businesses into the future with hosting and cloud. The company treats employees with reasonable fairness. Benefits are decent. Not great and not bad, but decent.

Cons

CenturyLink is a phone company and it always will be. Fiefdoms, process and authority trump results, innovation and success. In you like opaque bureaucracies, you will like CenturyLink. Management follows the 80/20 rule. 20% of management is proficient. 80% is hopelessly inept. Within that 80% are two groups. #1. Process Parrots: These are people born and bred in telco. They have no business sense, no technical acumen and no charisma. They do nothing but carry on the traditional of useless process. That keeps them employed, but prevents any sort of progress. #2. Big Hat, No Cattle Loudmouths. These people talk a lot about what “must be done” and what “should be done” but when it comes time to get something done, they cower in the shadows. Smart people won’t work here very long, if at all. Unless you are oriented towards political intrigue and paper-shuffling, you will find frustration at CenturyLink. IT systems are a horrific mess. Companies were acquired but integration of systems is a non-priority. Be prepared to deal with typhoons of changing applications, sign-ons and passwords. Stock grants and equity awards do not exist. Management believes the vast majority of employees have no stake in the company’s success and shouldn’t be rewarded if the company succeeds. Think about that attitude for a few minutes.

Pros

If you want to be yelled at on calls repeatedly for their terrible leadership being blamed on you, this is the place for you! If you want micromanaging and lots of condescending rude comments, this is the place for you. If you want people talking behind your back and working to get you fired when they’re on your team, this is the team for you!

Cons

Layoffs every year. Nonstop. Every year you try to find prior contacts, and they’ve been wiped from the system. Terrible management. Don’t want to help and will throw you under the bus. Blame you for everything. Yell at you. Rude comments. Catty behavior. They’ll isolate you, and they'll act as if you’re the problem. The entire upper management needs to wake up. They lead by bullying you rather than teaching and growing team. Lots of work. Zero pay to show for it. Understaffed, but you’ll work multiple roles. When you speak up, they try to fire you. It’s very retaliatory. This place is doomed to fail because they’re selfish and greedy. They don’t want to grow others. Very, very mean people. From director to senior director to VP, etc. Fake and nasty. Many incompetent people with decades years of experience.
