      CTL- Pre-Merger was a better company

      Co-workers are amazing! Flexibility is the biggest pro!!!!

      Cons

      Upper level management is clueless as to the unrest of their employees. Employees do not trust the C levels; they took huge bonuses for the merger and no raises given to the employees who make things function and grow the business.

      Cannot think of anything after working for a while here

      Cons

      1) You will be fired even after your performance is good if you are not one of the bootlickers of the Managers. 2) Most of the Managers here are worthless and do not know what the team is doing. Their designation is Technical Manager but not even a single technical thing they will be able to resolve. 3) Salary is not great 4) No job security 5) Will not survive just based on your talent if you are not a sycophant

      Pros

      The people are really what make CenturyLink worth working for. When I started 5 years ago I was startled by the average tenure of the employees here, and it's the mutual respect and relationships that develop that are the leading cause of that. There is plenty of room for promotion and growth. My leaders have helped develop me for the next step, in every step of my career, and it's very easy to move into new roles and areas that will continue to build and develop your resume.

      Cons

      CenturyLink has been in the midst of a major merger and hurting financially. There are a lot of unknowns with new leadership coming in, and because of poor stock performance, there hasn't been a solid sense of any job security for well over a year.
