Was a good place to work not anymore.

Pros

Used to be a good place to work but your colleagues are good (Original Leaders Staff)

Cons

As soon as the merger happened was when it went all wrong. Under appreciated staff, incentives get taken away, penny pinching as an employer not looking after their staff anymore. Redundancies are being made even though staff where being told they where safe.

Thank you for your review. Open communication is very important to us, therefore we have taken your comments on board. Please be assured, as a result of our recent changes, LRG has grown and as such has created several new, exciting opportunities for our employees. In addition, we have worked to align the benefits of the group and have implemented long service awards including 10 extra days holiday on 5 year anniversaries, holiday buying and carry over and discounts on Microsoft Office and hotels. Unfortunately, as with all change within an organisation, this can lead to the need to develop roles and duties however redundancy will always be avoided where possible. We wish you all the best for the future. - Holly, Human Resources Department

Pros

Very relaxed working atmosphere, no stress what so ever and branch staff colleagues are great. Due to the size of the branches (and the company ethos) the culture is very friendly and has a family feel. No targets/KPI's to achieve and you can structure your day to suit you. Property visits are encouraged so you can get out of the office regularly.

Cons

Absolutely no emphasis placed on staff progression or development. Even when I asked outright, I was not able to site down with management to discuss the best approach to progress within the company. Progression doesn't appear to be a part of this Leader's culture and you are expected to remain in your existing role until you leave. Perhaps I am not "Leaders material" or the type of employee they are looking for..... That honestly how I am left feeling
