Pros

CEO is a good person

Cons

Employees dismissed wrongfully, in retrospect I should have raised a whistleblowing case as I have since learnt of an out of work relationship leading to some of the dismissals. Long hours and no appreciation for doing so Micro managament Dishonesty is rife and encouraged

Thank you for your review. We are deeply concerned about the comments you raised regarding wrongful dismissal, and we take such matters very seriously. Our employees' well-being and fair treatment are of utmost importance to us, and we strive to ensure that our practices are in line with legislation at all times. We also have a confidential and anonymous whistleblowing procedure which you can still follow now that you are no longer an employee and we would urge you to do so that the situation can be investigated accordingly. To further address your concerns and gather more details about your situation, we kindly request that you get in touch with our Group HR Manager, Sophie. She is well experienced and qualified in employment matters and will be able to assist you appropriately. You can reach Sophie via email at swiseman@lrg.co.uk. She will handle your case with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism. Razna – HR Department

Pros

Not a lot to say really

Cons

The company is horrendous to work for, you are not cared for as an individual. You are just a number! The management is a joke, very very target based and if you aren’t meeting the targets you’re out the door! The customer service is ridiculous- the company only cares about making money and they do not care how they treat their employees or customers! I wish I read the reviews before starting my job at the company because I would have walked away before it was too late.

We're truly sorry to hear about your negative experience working with our company. We take feedback from our employees very seriously, and we apologise if you felt that your individual needs were not cared for. Our aim is to create an environment where every team member feels valued and supported. I can reassure you that no employee is just a number, for example we have a number of recognition programmes for all divisions and invest a lot of time into upskilling our teams and looking after everyone’s wellbeing. Also our senior management team recognise the importance of all our people, they often take the time to recognise employees’ hard work. Regarding your concerns about management and target-based approach, we understand that maintaining a balance between targets and employee well-being is crucial. We continually strive to strike the right balance, ensuring that our employees have the necessary support to meet their goals while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Over the past year we have reduced the hours our front-office teams work and have not seen any impact on business performance therefore it appears that the balance is currently being achieved. However if you have any information that suggests otherwise please do let us know. We would appreciate the opportunity to understand your specific concerns in more detail and address them appropriately. Our Group HR Manager, Sophie Wiseman, is here to listen and assist you. Kindly get in touch with Sophie via email at swiseman@lrg.co.uk. We genuinely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and we hope to hear from you soon as we are committed to learning from your feedback. Razna – HR Department
