Pros

Work From Home is Nice...

Cons

Leadership is easily some of the laziest and most privileged people I have ever had the misery to work under. They have unlimited PTO, abuse it beyond comprehension and they LOVE to make sure their responsibilities always flow downward when they are out of office as "an opportunity to grow" or "a way to get your feet wet." Promotions are always given to favorites and if you aren't in the leadership clique you may as well just quit because if they don't push you out with a PIP they will just never give you any projects and still complain you don't do enough. To give you a really clear view of how privileged management is: the CEO, Tom Wyatt... decided to build a house in the 6th most expensive county in the COUNTRY ... DURING THE PANDEMIC... WHEN WE WERE ALL LAID OFF.

Toxic environment

Pros

My experience taught me a lot of lessons about what not to tolerate from a workplace.

Cons

I underwent the trauma of an incredibly toxic workplace at KinderCare, working in their corporate headquarters. The lead in my department was retaliatory and actively pitted employees against each other. People I trusted lied to my face repeatedly. I was targeted for attempting to make arrangements to offer employees breaks during a period when they were forced to work days on end without breaks. Before leaving and as I exited, I was illegally discriminated against for my health condition.

Thank you for your feedback. This is VERY concerning, and does not sound like it lives up to KinderCare standards for safety, quality, and education. If you have the time, we would like to hear more about this at KinderCarejobs@kc-education.com - Derek, Talent Attraction Manager
